The concepts I have implemented at DataServ were borne out of frustration I felt with always being the new kid and being told what would not work and that this is how “it’s always been” even though I always had new and better ideas. Therefore, we built DataServ to allow individuals to contribute to their highest potential and have more independence to influence the future of the company. Sometimes this can be confusing for our team members because it can seem like a lack of direction.
Our management style is intentionally less hierarchical – shared responsibility is a key to our growth and success. It’s a two-way street, though, as our team members must contribute and actively participate to allow this model to succeed, but when they enjoy doing this and take advantage of the opportunity to make a positive impact, there are numerous benefits for themselves, the company as a whole, and our clients.

We love solving problems through new technology, new approaches and new thinking. It’s challenging and very rewarding.
