Confluence 2025: Clients Learn About SAFE AI and Unlocking Value for Finance Teams

On September 17–18, the DataServ community gathered at Spark St. Louis for Confluence 2025. The theme, Value: Unlocking New Benefits, set the tone for two days of discussion, collaboration, and learning.

Across keynotes, case studies, and breakout sessions, attendees explored both the opportunities and the risks of artificial intelligence in accounts payable. The central message was clear: when applied responsibly and strategically, AI creates lasting value. When misapplied, it creates risk.

Client presentations, including Vertiv’s “The Value of Automating AP with DataServ,” demonstrated how automation reduces costs while strengthening compliance. The Client Success team emphasized the importance of collaboration in adopting AI safely, while the “AI in Action” session showed how DataServ applies AI today, not as a shortcut but as a purpose-built tool within AP workflows.

A highlight of the conference was the focus on governance and risk. Panels on SAFE AI in Finance underscored how DataServ’s approach, secure, assured, financial-grade, and ethical, differentiates it from AI tools not designed for finance. Attendees saw firsthand how these guardrails ensure trust, stability, and compliance.

Confluence 2025 reinforced that the true value of AI is not just efficiency. It is trust, governance, and long-term success. DataServ is grateful to all who participated.
