Mark Twain Offers Sage Advice for AP Automation

“The secret to getting ahead is getting started.” – Mark Twain

That profound quote by one of America’s greatest authors echoes the ideology of our founder, Jeff Haller, who is known for being a little ahead of his time. Jeff must have taken Mr. Twain a bit too seriously in 1994 when he founded DataServ as a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of financial process automation solutions. After all, there was no such thing as SaaS at that time, and the commercial availability of the Internet was still a few years away, but Jeff had a vision of a paperless world where slogging through accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks in a manual fashion didn’t exist. 

DataServ’s clients currently take advantage of Mr. Twain’s philosophy every day because we allow them to start small and not wait for the perfect conditions to radically alter their Purchase to Pay or Quote to Cash process.
