Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?

It’s that time of year! Time to dust off this old Scottish song, put a glass of something bubbly in your hand, and reflect on the year – but not just from a personal warm and fuzzy reflection point of view.

If you work in AP, you’re probably translating ‘auld acquaintance’ to ‘outstanding invoices’ and working nonstop to close out the month-, quarter-, or year-end financials. And you definitely can’t afford to forget any “days gone by” as the year is rapidly closing.

Would now be a good time to remind you there’s an easier way to do it?

With AP automation, all that information you need to track this time of year needs no hunting down including:

  • how many invoices still need to be paid
  • where they are in the process
  • how to accrue for those expenses
  • etc.

It can all be readily available at any time via dashboards and reporting which frees up significant resources on your team…and isn’t that something we all need this time of year?

There’s a great example of this with one of our amazing clients, Merchants Fleet Management. You can hear about how AP automation helped deliver much greater flexibility to their organization via this webinar. To help you save even more time, fast forward to time stamp 40:00 to hear about their great AP automation outcomes.

Check it out, then give DataServ a call. We’ll make sure you get plenty of time next year to go sing that song where it’s meant to be – surrounded by family and friends, bubbly in hand, rather than while digging yourself out of stacks of receipts, paperwork, and invoices.
